"I use Raymarine for reading structure in shallow water primarily under 25ft. I like the ability to distinguish hard bottom from soft bottom using the CP100 chirp sonar. I use the downvision to find different forms of structure that will hold fish.
I use my Raymarine e97 in a split screen mode with chart and sounder. This allows me to pinpoint my spots on the chart and read the water column at the same time. Two advantages of Raymarine are the networkability and the hybridtouch. The fact that I can use one chart card for both machines offers a great savings. I also enjoy the ability to control my screens with either touch screen or a keypad depending on the circumstances"
